Hello to all on Atlantia, from windy Yorkshire.
Just to wish you a very Happy and peaceful Christmas, and a New Year full of excitement and pleasurable adventure.
You will have gathered from the intro that today the UK is having a bit of a blow, with F10 moderating F9 in the North Sea and not much less in the Irish Sea. Thank goodness Red Magic is safely tucked up ashore in Pwllheli.
We hope you are still thoroughly enjoying yourselves as much as the newsletters so far have indicated. Why is it always the mechanical things which cause the trouble? An electrical engineering friend of ours has the saying that all problems, even electrical ones are mechanical. Think about it!
Will was very kind about Red Magic when you all came aboard (was it in Dunboy?), and said he would like a boat like her, when he has got world cruising out of his system. The good news is that, though there are only six Frances 34's at the moment, a good fairy has bought the moulds and is proposing to restart production of Victorias and Frances's. We hope he knows what he is doing!
All the best from us both,
Tony and Nell Faulkner.
