Hi All Following your progress with interest. North Africa appears not to have changed. We used to weld the steelwork tobether and to the deck cargo pallets to prevent it "disappearing" tonnes at a time. how do you steel a portal shed ?

Ben is fine - loosing his summer coat and growing his thick winter version - looking moth eaten but as sparkling as ever. Stll tall dark and hansome of the New Town according to all his lady admirers. Energy !! what ever is in that dog food I must try. We were in Fordyce at the weekend I have contact details for our friends in the Falklands they will be very pleased if you make contact on your arrival. I will forward tele fax and email details on a more secure medium. Life here continues as ever nothin appears to change. Mhairi has embarked on her far east trip currently in Bankok - the bigest and smelliest traffic jam in the world!! She looked very small and vulnerable at the airport with her rucksack. She seems to have found her way OK so far. Regards John, Thel, Roddy and the pack
