Hi Will, Margaret and Susan,

Here in the cold, we've been enjoying your reports from the sunshine. Lynne and I visited Glasgow last week-end for the gamma club 30 year reunion; weather much as we remembered it from all those years ago. AS we were looking at 3, Ruskin Place, the owner came out. The same as we sold to in 1975! We learned that they had sold off the basement, 11 years ago, for 20 times what we paid for the whole flat! We spent a night on Bute with Brian and Helene Irvine and went for a walk to St Ninian's Chapel in a gale. I had another visitor two weeks ago, Bob Owen, who now lives in New Zealand having sailed there from Vancouver in 1990. He left a DVD of his trip across the Pacific, which had me enraptured. he's full of yarns and reckons that it takes 7 years to do a round the world trip properly. We,ve been in Derbyshire for the past few days and have had several good walks. This year there has been a marvellous crop of fungi, so we have been trying to identify them with Anna and her boyfriend, who have become infected with the fungus hunting bug. If you've time visit Anna's blog http//:topbanana101.blogspot.com.

All the best, Adrian
